FALLS MANAGEMENT COMPANY was chosen by the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLGC) to finance, design, build and operate the Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort Project in February of 1998. In addition to this role, FMC took over operation of the highly successful Casino Niagara in November 1998.

Casino Niagara is currently the most popular tourist destination in Canada, attracting over 23,000 people per day and providing full-time employment to over 3000 local residents. It is one of the most successful casinos in North America, and is a leading driver of economic growth in the Niagara Falls region. Initially opened in December of 1996, it was intended to serve only as an interim site while the Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort project was developed, but it's tremendous success and clear economic and employment benefits lead to the decision in April of 2003 to keep Casino Niagara open as a complementary facility to the upcoming Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort.
