WITH MANY BENEFICIAL projects underway, including the Casino Niagara Cares project, the cultural benefits to the region are many. In addition to supporting local artisans and artists, over $3.5 million in donations to local hospital emergency rooms have been made to date. Donations and sponsorships of charities, community events, festivals and fundraisers have been ongoing since 1997. In addition, donations and support have been given to structured community development programs such as healthcare, education, the arts, cultural, heritage and other charitable causes. Falls Management Company has also made both financial and management contributions to the Niagara Falls People Mover System.

The recent Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort Gala Grand Opening event, on June 8th, 2004, was a charity event. The proceeds went to 3 local agencies: United Way of Niagara Falls, Niagara Falls Community Foundation, and Niagara Falls Community Centre.



CASINO NIAGARA CARES PROGRAM

This organization was founded in May of 2000, with the goal of improving the lives of Niagara region citizens. Launched with a $1.2 million donation to 3 local hospital emergency rooms, the Greater Niagara General Hospital, Welland County Hospital and St. Catharines General Hospital , it has contributed over $3.5 million to date. Popular community events throughout the region have also been sponsored by the program, including the Winter Festival of Lights, the Blossom Festival, the Grape and Wine Festival and the Casino Niagara International Marathon.

RESPONSIBLE GAMING
The Government of Ontario allocates a percentage of gaming revenue to address problem gambling. Funds go towards research, treatment and public awareness programs. Falls Management Company fully supports responsible gaming.
